BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF METROPOLITAN BALTIMORE HOSTS DOVE SELF-ESTEEM WORKSHOP FOR 5th ANNUAL DOVE® SELF-ESTEEM WEEKEND

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore will host a self-esteem workshop for over 100 girls on Saturday, October 11, 2014. This event is part of the forthcoming fifth annual Dove Self-Esteem Weekend, a nationwide effort to raise awareness for the need to help girls develop a positive relationship with beauty. The workshop will support the ongoing efforts of the Dove Self-Esteem Project that is committed to reaching 15 million young people with self-esteem education by the end of 2015.

72% of girls feel pressure to be beautiful. Dove believes everyone has the opportunity to make a difference in a girl’s self-esteem.

On Saturday we are inviting young ladies to participate in a Dove sponsored self –esteem weekend which will include various workshops. In these workshops we will discuss how image is portrayed in the media, create vision boards, have physical fitness workshops, dance and much much more!
