Travis Snider visits with Teens!

On Tuesday July 1st, Baltimore Orioles’ Outfielder Travis Snyder stopped by to talk with teens about their futures. Snider encouraged teens to explore different areas of interests and to use the next few years to find a field they enjoy. He also urged teens to advocate for themselves, using their unique backgrounds, interests, and skills to make themselves stand out to future employers or college admissions officers.

The teens present were part of the Graduate for Mas program. Graduate for Más is a program track offered to Club members in partnership with Taco Bell Foundation, as an extension of Taco Bell Foundation’s national initiative that provides tools and resources to teens while tracking their progress toward graduation and life goals. Through this partnership, we work to prepare rising 8th and 9th graders for a successful transition into high school, while introducing teens of all ages to higher education opportunities and career goals beyond high school.

We are incredibly proud of all our teen members who continue  work towards great futures, and we are so grateful for Travis for stopping by and spending the afternoon with us!

Check out this great write-up regarding the event!
