The project will turn the once vacant Hilton Recreation Center in West Baltimore into a 30,000 square foot beacon of hope, energy and impact reaching more than 2,000 kids and teens.

The campus will be a state-of-the-art center for Boys & Girls Club's youth development programs as well as a destination for other nonprofit partners providing services and activities in partnership with the community. Plans for the facility include a gym, tutoring center, teen center, arts room, dance studio, technology and music studio and teaching kitchen. The campus will include a new turf athletic field with lights and a new outdoor basketball court. The facility will also be the home sports facility for the adjacent Green Street Academy, a public charter school that serves nearly 900 students in grades 6 – 12.

BGCMB will provide programs that focus on academic success, character and leadership development, the arts, health and wellness, sports and recreation, and workforce readiness.

Funds raised through the campaign will build on the catalytic gift from the Ravens and the Stephen and Renee Bisciotti Foundation, to support the construction and long-term sustainability of the facility.
