Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Baltimore CEO Jeff Breslin Named Baltimore Business Journal Executive Leader Honoree

Baltimore, MD (January 28, 2026) — Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Baltimore (BGCMB) is proud to announce that President & CEO Jeff Breslin has been named an honoree of the Baltimore Business Journal’s Executive Leadership Awards, a new program recognizing local executives making meaningful impact on both their organizations and the Greater Baltimore community.

Since joining the organization in 2018, Breslin has led a strategic transformation that strengthened financial performance, expanded regional reach, and positioned BGCMB as a trusted partner for public- and private-sector collaboration. Under his leadership, the organization grew its annual operating budget from $1.4 million to $6 million and expanded services to more than 2,000 youth across Baltimore City, Howard County, and the Eastern Shore.

Breslin has built high-impact partnerships with corporate leaders, national brands, philanthropies, and government agencies—aligning investment with measurable outcomes for youth and communities. His leadership includes spearheading the Baltimore Ravens Boys & Girls Club, a 30,000-square-foot flagship facility and one of only three NFL-affiliated Boys & Girls Clubs in the country.

He has also led funding and development for additional club renovations and the Club at Mace’s Lane Community Center, opening later this year, extending access to high-quality youth development services in underserved communities.

Breslin implemented scalable operating models that supported expansion into six new Club locations across five counties while maintaining strong governance, financial accountability, and program quality. He expanded the Board of Directors from 7 to 21 members and co-led a statewide collaborative that secured $23 million in public funding in support of all Boys & Girls Club organizations in Maryland reinforcing the long-term sustainability of Club’s in nearly every county in Maryland.

“Jeff’s leadership has positioned Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Baltimore as a high-performing organization and a strong partner for businesses looking to invest in workforce development, community impact, and the future of our region,” said Chris Handwerk, Board Chair of BGCMB.

The 2026 Executive Leadership Awards honorees—including 20 leaders from diverse industries across the region—will be formally recognized at an awards event on March 18, 2026, at the Sagamore Pendry Hotel Ballroom in Baltimore.
