At Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Baltimore, preparing young people for success means helping them imagine a future beyond what they see every day. Through our Life & Workforce Readiness pillar and growing teen strategy, we are creating meaningful opportunities for teens to explore college campuses, discover new career pathways, and begin envisioning the futures they want to build.

As the Arts, Culture & Expression Manager at the Baltimore Ravens Boys & Girls Club, which includes not only visual arts, but also culture, creative expression, STEAM, performance, and other youth development opportunities, Ms. Theresa’s main goal is to foster an environment where creativity can grow, and every kid feels encouraged to explore their imagination.

We’re halfway through our 6-week summer camp—and what a ride it’s been! Across our 11 Boys & Girls Clubs, nearly 600 campers are soaking up every moment, turning up the fun, and diving headfirst into hands-on experiences that spark imagination, learning, and serious joy.

Abina Rogers has always known her purpose: to serve youth. From her early days studying early childhood development, English, and communications, she’s had one goal in mind—helping young people thrive. Mental Health Awareness at Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Baltimore continues well beyond the month of May. We are proud to spotlight the continued positive impact of our Positive Action program on youth at our Club at O'Donnell Heights.

Twelve teens from the Boys & Girls of Metropolitan Baltimore Club at Brooklyn O’Malley recently had an exciting opportunity to explore the world of food science at Ingredion’s innovation lab. The trip offered a unique hands-on learning experience that sparked curiosity, deepened their understanding of food production, and opened their eyes to potential careers in science.
