RSM Volunteers Help Create a Welcoming Space at Webster Kendrick
At Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Baltimore, the spaces where our young people learn, connect, and grow are an important part of the Club experience. Creating environments that feel welcoming, organized, and built with young people in mind helps set the tone for meaningful programming throughout the year.
Volunteers from RSM spent time at our Club at Webster Kendrick, helping prepare and enhance the Club as members returned for another school year of programming.
Throughout the volunteer experience, the RSM team helped install new signage and information boards in areas across the Club. These additions will help make important information, upcoming opportunities, Club programming, and resources more visible and accessible to members and families.
Volunteers also helped decorate and refresh spaces throughout Webster Kendrick, bringing additional energy and care to an environment our young people spend time in throughout the week.
For our Club members, those details matter. A welcoming space can help young people feel a stronger sense of belonging from the moment they walk through the door. Clear information helps members stay connected to opportunities available to them, while refreshed spaces can help make the Club feel exciting, engaging, and ready for everything the new school year has to offer.
At Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Baltimore, we work to create safe, positive environments where young people can build relationships, discover new interests, receive support, and develop the skills they need for their futures. Corporate volunteers play an important role in helping us maintain and strengthen those environments.
The day also demonstrated how volunteer service can create an impact through projects both large and small. By contributing their time and energy, the RSM team helped our Webster Kendrick staff create a space that better supports the members and families who walk through our doors each day.
We are incredibly grateful to RSM and each of the volunteers who spent their day supporting our Webster Kendrick Club.
Together, we’re creating Club spaces where Baltimore’s young people can feel welcomed, supported, and ready to make the most of every opportunity ahead.
