A Summer of Belonging, Growth and Possibility
This summer, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore brought young people together across nine Club locations for days filled with learning, friendship, creativity and discovery. Nearly 600 young people participated in our summer programs, with an average daily attendance of 411—an increase over the previous summer. At the Baltimore Ravens Boys & Girls Club, 79 young people participated each day during the Club’s first full summer of programming.
But the numbers tell only part of the story.
Throughout the summer, Club members stepped outside their comfort zones, explored new interests and discovered what they could accomplish. Young entrepreneurs developed and sold their own products through BMORE Than Lemonade. Leaders in Training reflected on their experiences and delivered powerful end-of-summer speeches. Young people built relationships with local law enforcement through Police & Sneaks, with a new pair of shoes delivered to a Club each week. At the Ravens Club, “Dads on the Grill” brought families together around food, fellowship and community.
There were also moments of individual growth—like Genesis finding the confidence to get involved, young leaders sharing their voices at the Howard County Expo and Ayden discovering a new perspective from behind the camera.
The summer culminated in Summer Fest, when all of our Club members and staff from across our Clubs came together for one unforgettable day of celebration.
These experiences reflect what happens when young people have a place where they are welcomed, valued and encouraged to discover their strengths. Every friendship formed, challenge overcome and new opportunity explored helped our members see that they belong—and that great things are possible for them.
Our 2026 Summer Impact Report captures the people, partnerships and moments that made this summer meaningful.
