On April 5, we crowned our 2024 Youth of the Year, Ashawnte J., in a competition at Access Holdings office in downtown Baltimore.
As a valued corporate partner, Access Holdings supports BGCMB year-round with contributions of time, talent, and treasure, and has been a fabulous host of our competition for two years running! At Friday’s competition, Access Holdings employees joined the crowd to cheer on our candidates alongside their family members and BGCMB staff. Drew Yager, a Senior Analyst at Access Holdings said, “We are proud to partner with The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore and play a role in their mission to guide teens toward a bright and productive future!”
Ashawnte will advance to represent BGCMB in the statewide competition in May.
Congratulations to all three of our YOY candidates, Ashawnte, Madison and AuPrince, for their courage to compete.
